ABOUT US

Pikin-To-Pikin Movement is a Child-Centred Community Development National Non-Governmental Organization based in Sierra Leone. The organisation was founded in 1994, during one of the most difficult chapters in Sierra Leone's history: a rebel war that made protecting children's rights more urgent than ever.

Pikin-To-Pikin Movement was created to give children the tools they were missing in Sierra Leone. Our goal is to strengthen children's capacity to take an active role in their development and the promotion of their rights.

The family and the child welfare system both have specific responsibilities, but society at large shares the responsibility for promoting healthy human growth and development.
