Projects
Every project we do is guided by our Strategic Plan 2024 to 2028, targeting the felt needs of the children and communities we serve, and aligned with Sierra Leone's national priorities.

Rehabilitation of KLDEC Primary School
• October 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025.
• Funding contributions by All We Can UK, FORUT Norway, and local contributors.

When a windstorm in May 2025 left the KLDEC Primary School in Buedu Community, Kailahun, without a roof and walls, Pikin-To-Pikin Movement stepped in to give 403 pupils (224 boys and 179 girls) and 10 teachers (6 male and 4 female) their school back.
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Promotion
• Ongoing.
• Funding contributions by FORUT Norway and local contributors.

In 2024, centred our WASH efforts on the Kailahun District. We helped over 606 students and teachers benefit from a healthier, safer school environment. Through targeted hygiene education and improved facilities, including access to clean drinking water, child-friendly latrines, and essential sanitation supplies, both students and teachers have gained knowledge and tools to promote their health and well-being.
Child Rights and Gender Equality (Safe Space)
Project
• Part of the ongoing 2024-28 Strategic Plan.
• Funding contributions by FORUT Norway.

Implemented across four chiefdoms in the Kailahun District, this project created 62 school clubs and trained 1,860 children on their rights. Among other initiatives, we empowered 4,092 adolescent girls with life skills and trained 200 Teacher Facilitators and 50 Head Teachers to ensure safe, violence-free learning environments.
Girls Circle Collective (GCC) Project
• Throughout 2024.
• Funding contributions by Purposeful.

Dedicated to the economic and social empowerment of out-of-school girls in 7 and 9 chiefdoms in Bonthe and Moyamba districts, this project included activities like life-skills training, distributing micro-grants, providing vocational training in tailoring, and delivering talks on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights to 3,177 girls.
Strengthening Support for Malaria, TB, and HIV/AIDS Elimination
• Ended in June 2024.
• Funding contributions by the Global Fund through the Catholic Relief Service (CRS) Sierra Leone.

Reaching every chiefdom in the Bonthe and Moyamba districts, this project reached 65,061 people with vital health information and provided free treatment to 8,681 people with malaria. We benefited from the collaboration of 1,500 volunteers and 600 religious leaders who advocated prevention within their communities.
